Stevedoring, Ships Agency, Chartering, Project Cargo, Terminal MGT, Forwarding, Warehousing, Ship Repair, Towage, and passenger ferries.


The company operates from the main Irish ports.


The role in the Finance department of the group

The role will primarily be based in the Cork branch of the group Finance department for the ship repairs division based in Rushbroke, Cobh, Co. Cork, and duties will primarily entail as follows:

 

List of Duties (Ship Repair Division)

·        Preparation of daily & weekly timesheets for direct labour

·        Prepare weekly clocking cards for labour operations

·        Liaise with payroll officer on any queries with timesheets

·        Daily update of the various contracts work in progress valuation & costing report on excel

·        Log purchase order costs on excel/FMS job accounts system

·        Match purchase orders and delivery dockets with supplier invoices - log invoices to FMS job accounts systems

·        Follow up with suppliers for any outstanding invoices & credit notes to reconcile supplier accounts at month end

 

The individual will ascertain a good exposure/ knowledge to:

  •     The various operating accounts systems
  •      Contracts work in progress valuation
  •      Payroll Preparation


Remuneration - €15 Per Hour

 

Hours of Work-

Full-Time - 9.00-17.00 Monday - Friday

Fixed-Term Contract - Maternity Leave Cover (7-9 month contract) -Commencing September
