Position - Container Terminal/Vessel Planner

Summary of Position: 

We are seeking a Container Terminal/Vessel planner for our Dublin operation. You will be part of our dedicated Planning team to maximize vessel capacity utilization and terminal operations efficiencies. You will also effectively plan and monitor terminal operations, ensuring all key teams are aware of progress whilst also ensuring the safety and integrity of our Terminal / Vessels.

Essential Requirements

The Ideal Candidate:

·         Will have knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to work terminal operating systems.

·         Is self-motivated, requires minimal supervision, accountable, and willing to take on responsibilities within a team environment.

·         Has exemplary time management and organizational skills to prioritize work and meet deadlines.

·         Excellent customer care skills.

·         Excellent written and oral presentation skills.

·         Strong research skills and ability to collate and concisely communicate key findings in written reports, and in-person meetings.

·         Excellent troubleshooting skills.

·         Highest standards of Health and Safety compliance.

• Logistics/Warehouse Planning experience essential

• Third Level Education

Desirable Skills

The ideal candidate could also have:

·         Experience with, and interest in, Container Terminal Vessel /Planning.

·         Experience in spatial analysis.

·         Experience working in a project-based environment with teams and/or stakeholders.

Hours of Work: Monday – Sunday. Based on a 24hr roster Mon-Sunday. Roster will be discussed at interview.
